A small Italian artisan reality and the description of a small, sweet moment.

Assorted pastries, sure. One large coffee puff pastry, two strawberry buns, one millefeuille. Apart from one or two, we already know who each one is destined for, but what will be the extra one for the wolverines? Let’s take it easy on the names. On the other side of the counter, the saleswoman, the pliers in her hand, turns with submission to your desires; she does not betray impatience even when she has to change trays, the millefeuille does not fit. The tray is important, with its rounded corners and raised edges. It represents the solid base of a fragile building, of uncertain fate.

Philippe Delerm has hit the nail on the head, and he’s not the only one.
A cake can be told in many ways, we have chosen to do it through a production of episodes.
Happiness.
Harmony.
Family.
Time.

And more will come, but that’s another story.

We use Freight Display Regular and Italic throughout in various sizes for its legibility and elegance.
