Paperback edition (Garnier-Flammarion, ca. 1972) of Alphonse Daudet’s Lettres de mon moulin (Letters from My Windmill), a collection of short stories first published in 1869. The cover by Patrick Courivaud uses a version of Thorowgood Sans Shaded, filled with a gradient from yellow to green to yellow. The publisher’s name is repeated over and over to form a frame, composed from tightly spaced outlined caps of Eurostile Extended.
