“Rhodes’n’Electronics” is Alex Ketzer’s first live set to premiere on May 25 at the micro gallery. At the center of the performance is the 1981 Fender Rhodes MK2, whose iconic sounds – paired with effect devices, synthesizers and drum computers – merge into a dreamy, nebulous and atmospheric mix: ambient fragments meet Drum’n’Bass-inspired rhythms, left-field sounds combine with elements of dub and techno, micro-house loops overlay trance pattern.
