In 2019, French publisher Kana released two new manga books by Japanese author Inio Asano: Errance (零落 aka Reiraku) and Solanin integrale (ソラニン). These books feature minimalistic covers with information on top, each typeset with a different typeface but in a similar fashion.
Errance is set with the monospaced Knif while Solanin is set in Frauen Roman.These typefaces are also used on promotional banderoles that cover the bottom half of the actual cover. The Japanese typeface has been identified by Akira Yoshino: it’s Hiragino Kaku Gothic, a Mac OS system font.
