Chino Tattoo (Otto Maurer, 2014) used for a typographic tattoo in “Chapter 4 / Umwelt” (season 2, episode 2) of the series Legion, with a quote from Philip K. Dick: “Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.”
Not really. It would qualify as LTypI if the text read “Chino” or “Tattoo”. Using a font with “tattoo” in the name for a tattoo is like using News Gothic for news, or Anzeigen-Grotesk for ads. That’s just the intended use case.
