1970s re-issue of the E.E. “Doc” Smith’s Lensman series by Pyramid Books. All illustrations by Jack Gaughan.
Author name and title are set in Kabel Black, all lowercase. The rest of the copy is in a lighter weight of Kabel – all lowercase for the short blurb and all uppercase for the series promo.
In 1973, Pyramid has re-issued these books in a similar cover style to the Skylark series, with different illustrations still from Jack Gaughan.
