Having changed its logo to an Optima wordmark in 2006, Qatar Airways launched its tagline World’s 5-Star Airlinein August 2008, and along with it the Odile typeface by Sibylle Hagmann (Kontour, 2006), using its alternate single-storey lowercase a. Other letters have their stylistic alternates used in headlines.
