Desierto. Fin y Principio shows images of the Patagonian desert, made by Argentinian photographer Pablo Cabado. The main idea for the typographic design of this book was to create a texture similar to a sand floor, to bring the same sense of vastness to the texts, too. That’s why we made these three justified columns so tight, set in a small point size. All text is presented in three languages; Spanish, English, and Korean. We used Univers for the Latin and looked for a sans serif that would be a good match for the Korean, and decided on Noto Sans.
