Diego Arellano:
La última tarde aquí (“The last afternoon here”) is a book comprised of nine short stories about, unconsciously, people who are travelling and moving freely at a time when I was in London waiting for my passport to arrive with a British visa. The waiting lasted fifteen months and I could not go anywhere apart from my desk in order to do some catharsis. Four years after the passport backlog, now I can express my gratitude to the Home Office because otherwise there would be no book.
