Ghost Party, Saturday evening, October 23rd, at 9:00 o’clock, Harmony Maennerchor, 204 Lancaster Avenue. Admit one ghost, $1.50.
Ticket from the great collection of Alan Mays. The heading is set in Metropolis licht, or probably rather Baltimore Type’s recutting of this 1920s type from Germany, Homewood. The bold script used for the date is the similarly elusive Stylescript, designed by Sol Hess for Lanson Monotype in 1940, and also carried by Baltotype. They are complemented by Goudy Bold and Bernhard Gothic, two ATF typefaces that already were a few decades old in 1954.
