Lygia Clark was a groundbreaking Brazilian artist whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper reimagined the relationship between audience and object. For gallery Luhring Augustine’s first exhibition of her work, we designed and invitation that is inspired by Clark’s graphic use of positive and negative color blocking. The card can be folded in a variety of ways, as a reference to Clark’s interest in audience participation and authorship.
