MoFi
Halyard Display is the typeface of MoFi’s visual identity. Formerly known as Montana & Idaho Community Development Corporation, MoFi provides loans to individuals, businesses and communities outside the financial mainstream. The website uses the distinctive Grotesque by Darden Studio for all text, in contrasting sizes. Three weights of Halyard Display — light, regular, and bold — were combined for a clearly structured and harmonious design.
Halyard Display Bold was selected for punchy headings. They are shown white against photographs or boxes in the brand colors blue and yellow.
Body text is rendered in grey, using Halyard’s light weight.
Testimonials are set center-aligned. The enlarged quote marks in the background are from Halyard, too.
Halyard Bold is used for smaller headings, like in the website’s footer.
