Poster for music gig at London College of Printing in 1971, featuring The Legend and Shakin’ Stevens – classic rock ’n’ roll. I provided the concept and colour scheme; Tad Kasa did the hand drawn typography from Broadway Engraved, adding an extra line to the Deco fill.

Printed in five colour silk screen by me, 100 printed for distribution in other colleges and the whole London College of Printing entrance wall was covered using the posters like bricks.

  1. Nice, Barry! I’d love to see a photo of the wallpapered posters at LCP.

Sadly we didn’t have smart phones and sharing to photograph daily events. We were 39 years too early. Photography, which I studied at LCP was an expensive activity, reserved for “projects”.
