The interior was designed by Iris Weinstein and is typeset in Bembo Infant. That’s a typeface I have yet come to terms with. Just like books that use the long s (ſ) can take on a lisping “voice”, Bembo Infant’s monocular a seems to tease me on every line: “You say tomato, I say tomoto.”

Using Plantin Infant for body text is like somebody accidentally left the stylistic alternate option on in InDesign’s OT palette and it makes me want to punch myself every two paragraphs.
As long as the Linotype site still exists, you can still buy the Bembo Infant, which is what I just did. Just a tip for those who decide quickly!
