Poster by Belgian graphic artist and actor Michel Waxmann (1937–2018), announcing J’accuse, a new journal of the Gauche prolétarienne, edited by Jean-Paul Sartre, André Glucksmann, and Jean-Luc Godard. The first issue appeared on January 15, 1971. In May 1971, it merged with La Cause du peuple.

The title in bold geometric lowercase letters is probably custom drawn, modeled after Bob Newman’s Letraset original Pump, which was released in 1970. The weight is closer to Pump Medium or Demi Bold, but these styles weren’t added before 1975 and 1980, respectively. Also, the curves of ‘c’ and ‘e’ here are vertically cut. Burko Super Duper is similar, too.

Waxmann also designed a couple of typefaces. His best known one is Michel from around 1969.
