Nosaj Thing — Parallels

Sometimes, you just can’t choose. The “creative process” could be defined as a series of failed production, rapid prototyping with intention of iteration. For the cover of Los Angeles rapper Nosaj Thing, returning designer Adam Guzman made a cover of covers, or maybe it’s a cover of sides. The typography is eclectic and brings logistic tags, notes and checks to mind, while the composition echoes strict modernism in the post ISO world.

In addition to the physical LP, CD and cassette versions, there is also a website where the “stripes” are independent, animated objects.
