Rico Rico is a fast paelleria by the La Lola Group, located in the center of SM Aura Premier’s Food on Four.
We designed the dining experience from menu boards, signages, and wall graphics; to the buzzers, uniforms, and packaging. The identity goes with the product: festive and filled with personality and flavor. Rico Rico aims to make paella accessible for both large groups and individuals.
The logo is inspired from vintage Spanish travel posters. According to the designers, it should be playful, but at the same time sturdy: “We wanted to make it look like there was movement, while the letters repeated, we wanted to make it feel different.” The accompanying fonts are Clarendon and Knockout, both used in all-caps with ample spacing.
