Magazine design for Pan & The Dream Magazine. Issue 1: The Emperor’s New Clothes concerns itself with the naked form.
The issue weds smart text and arresting imagery in a coming together of new and archival work from esteemed artists and young creatives alike. A statement defying the current wave of commercial puritanism and the mishandling of censorship in social media.

Hi Ruya, the main typeface used here appears to be François Rappo’s revival named Didot Elder. The big ‘5’ is from another Didot for large sizes, though. My bet is on HTF Didot. It seems the oldstyle ‘1’ with the long nose is neither included in Hoefler & Co’s version nor in the related Essonnes, as you had surmised. Maybe it’s a customization.

Hi Florian!
You’re right! I had figured it for Essonnes because of the 'g’ glyph and the stylistic serifs on the 'S’ and 'C’.
Thank you for the correction! Cheers :)
