Omnes by Darden Studio is used for the logo of French Ministry for Environment, Sustainable Growth and Energy’s National Debate on Energy Transition, designed by Paris-based graphic designer Nicolas Hubert.
Hubert opted for Omnes Semibold and its organic yet contemporary letterforms. He emphasized the inclusive nature of the debate by dispending capitals – which can be perceived as authoritative – and used less formal lowercase characters only.
The round dots on ‘i’ go together well with the sequence of circles which may allude to thought balloons as visual metaphor for ideas. Together with the color green, the leaf-shaped acute accents in Omnes help to subtly reference the topic of environmentalism.
