MSS FRNCE [misfʁɑ̃s] is a Punk quartet from Paris, France.
The band’s first release, simply named 1, was recorded in 2016 by Romain Turzi and copied on 50 random-coloured cassettes.
Entirely hand-designed and hand-crafted (using tools such as scissors, adhesive tape, staples and, obviously a black and white photocopier), 1 is a graphic tribute to Punk music, its aesthetics & graphic codes but also the DIY culture which it gaves birth to.
Each blind bag contains a coloured cassette, a 24-page handmade booklet and a 3" circle sticker.
All of this is packed into a sealed black plastic sachet which prevents to see the color of the cassette until opening.
