Fanta international websites
In summer 2017, Fanta relaunched with Omnes Pro from Darden Studio as the primary typeface for their international websites. A global brand, Fanta wisely went with a font family that offers vast language support. It taps Omnes’s full diacritical potential, from Latvian macrons and Hungarian double acutes to Polish ogoneks, ensuring a consistent typographic identity from Argentina to Australia and from Norway to South Africa.
The designers skillfully make Omnes work across a range of sizes and functions. Headings are shown in white against colorful images. The chosen weight, Omnes Black, robustly sets itself apart. All-caps settings add extra heft. Regular and Medium weights are used for smaller items including teasers, short texts and navigational items.
The German homepage exemplifies how Omnes is utilized across a range of roles.
The brand timeline — here in Hungarian — combines various sizes and weights of Omnes in a center-aligned setting. The year dates in big orange numerals establish a clear visual hierarchy, with the perky ‘1’ serving as eye-catcher.
