Pop Art, mon Amour. L’Art de Tadanori Yokoo et du manga is an exhibition catalogue from La Maison d’Ailleurs.

This book is an actual continuation of the exhibition: firstly, it is two-fold – one aspect is dedicated to Tadanori Yokoo and the other to manga – in order to reflect the dialogue established by the exhibition between two creative fields usually in opposition although they have so much to share (contemporary art, comics). Secondly, this is the first book in French to present Tadanori Yokoo and the first to rigorously study the science fiction manga produced since the end of World War II. With an outstanding layout and numerous pictures, this catalogue will not only enchant all connoisseurs of Japanese culture, but also all those who are curious to explore further what “Pop Art, My Love” touched on: the syncretic process underlying creativity – whether this be Japanese or Western.

It was designed by the Swiss studio Notter + Vigne.
The Suisse collection is available from Swiss Typefaces.
