American rock duo They Might Be Giants teamed up with Paul Sahre for their fourteenth (!) full length album Phone Power. Referencing teletext and ASCII, the package is a loud and proud odyssey in Frutiger’s OCR-B. Letters team up to create borders, symbols or even bigger versions of themselves. Overlapped, overprinted but never overdone, a masterful exercise in fun.
