#RICOMINCIAMO (“start again”) — On August 24th 2016 a terrible earthquake shook up Central Italy. The weekly magazine Donna Moderna’s newsroom decided to talk about the tragedy and the forthcoming rebuilding process for a whole year and not just for the period of emergency (as most of the media did). Every week the website features stories from the daily life of people living in Umbria, Lazio and Marche, the most damaged regions. Alessandro Scotti, our photo reporter, travels to Central Italy on a monthly basis and collects new stories that then become new chapters of this long-form. The long-form’s structure needs to evolve week after week according to the content (texts, photos, videos and audios) produced by Scotti. The result is a “live” storytelling platform designed for this specific project. This is an on-going project that will reach an end on August 24th, 2017.
