Rubem Alves series covers
Series of four books of fables by Brazilian author Rubem Alves. Illustrations by Veridiana Scarpelli.
Since the start of this project, it was very important that typography could dialogue with the ilustrations. The relation between the colored areas and black contour should be accompanied by the typography. Therefore, weight and contrast guided this choice.
In addition, typography had the function of identifying the collection. On the cover, the title set in Julien has as much protagonism as the illustration, forming a kind of label.
