Curated by Rachel Dedman and hosted by Dar El-Nimer, Beirut, the Palestinian Museum’s first satellite exhibition will present Palestinian embroidery in exciting new light:
Embroidery is extraordinary material – visual, tactile, intimate, labourious, political. Challenging associations with the antiquated, the traditional and the marginal, At the Seams will break new ground in extending the history of Palestinian embroidery into the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.
