Wilhelm Klingspor Gotisch

Initially known as Missal-Schrift and originally released as Wilhelm-Klingspor-Schrift, it is named after the founder who died shortly after its release. Two sets of caps, wide and narrow. The only blackletter design that made it into FontShop’s 100 Best Typefaces of All Time.

There are several digital revivals. José Alberto Mauricio’s (Alter Littera, 2013) is probably the most faithful and extensive one.
