Patented in 1880 by Wm. H. Page [patent] who sold this wood type as No. 120. Later shown with lowercase. [Kelly 1969] No. 122 is a variant decorated with screw heads.
Adopted by Headliners as part of the Morgan Press Collection as MP 327 [1976 catalog]. Typeshop had a film version named Oeland. PLINC’s Pacella Vega is similar.
