Grant No. 2 was designed by Charles E. Heyer in 1892 for BB&S, following Grant Extended (1890) [Reichardt 2011] Sheridan is a related bolder series.

Sheridan Gothic SG is a digital interpretation in three weights. The Light comes close to Grant No. 2 and is used for the sample, the Bold is less bold and less wide than Sheridan. LHF Grants Antique is a loose interpretation with small caps in the lowercase. OPTI Grant Rustic is a version with rough contours. See also Telemachus.
