Origin unclear. Released sometime in the late 1800s. Sold by Klinkhardt as Skelett-Kursiv and by Berthier as Fantaisie Italique or Italique. Similar to Venetian (italic) and Old Style Circular but with stronger contrast and horizontal entry strokes.
