Bentley was designed by Joe Taylor as a “revision of ‘Arthur Thinline’”, in a single weight, possibly in late 1969 or early 1970, and made available by Lettergraphics [Taylor]. Shown in five styles (Thinline, Light, Regular, Bold, Outline), each with Biform variants [Lettergraphics 1968–1975]. The catalog is dated 1968, but this seems to conflict with the 1969 date for Arthur, suggesting that it includes later additions. Bentley isn’t included in a Lettergraphics catalog dated 1969.
