Cut by the Ludwig & Mayer foundry in 1930*, after drawings by Karl Sommer. Motor is decorated with open stripes that look like chrome reflections or speed lines. Caps and numerals only. There is also a solid cut named Dynamo, with a lowercase.
Motor has been digitized more than once, most successfully by Steve Jackaman as Motorcross.
*) Luc Devroye lists this designs as Vulcan with a 1929 date. However, this is not the Vulcan listed by Reichardt as a Mergenthaler face in Bold and Bold Italic from 1929. It might have been an export alias of Motor.
