Designed by Giulio da Milano in two weights and issued by Nebiolo in 1935. Alessandro Butti added Neon Ombra, a shadowed version, in 1938 [Reichardt 2011]. Neon changes its width/height ratio at different body sizes.
Canada Type, whose Gala is a loose revival and extension of Neon, suggests that it could have influenced Microgramma.
A single style, Neon Extra Condensed, was digitized by Agfa in the early 1990s. Neon Nbl is another, much more extensive revival by Alessandro Colizzi for CAST.
