Playfair Display

The Regular was released in May 2011. Subsequently, the family was expanded to span three weights plus small caps, each with italics.

Superseded in March 2022 by Playfair 2.0 (official release as v2.1 in Nov. 2023) which comes in variable font format with axes for Width (Semi-Condensed to Semi-Expanded), Weight (Normal to Black), and Optical Size. The Playfair Display entry covers v1 as well as v2’s size range of Needlepoint, Hairline, Titling, Display, Headline, and Trumpet. For the smaller sizes, see Playfair.
