Champion Gothic

Inspired by Gothic (Nesbitt) [Hoefler, Every Art Director Needs His Own Typeface, 1991]. Originally designed in 1990 for Sports Illustrated (art director: Steven Hoffman) and initially named S. I. Gothic. Made available for general licensing in 1996. [ad in U&lc Vol. 23 No. 1] Extended with more weights in 2001.
