Philadelphia’s City Budget is more than just numbers – it’s a reflection of the city’s values, priorities, and future. Yet, the budget process can feel boring, complex, and inaccessible. The People’s Budget Office wants to change that.

Founded in 2021, the People’s Budget Office transforms the municipal budgeting process into an inclusive, creative, and community-driven experience. They use public art, education, and advocacy to empower residents to engage directly in shaping how public funds are allocated.

By making the budget process transparent, accessible, and playful, they ensure that all Philadelphians—regardless of background, age, or experience—can have a say in how their city is built and resourced.

École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz (ENI Metz, or ENIM) is a French engineering school established in 1960.

In September 2025, the school announced a rebranding designed by Metz-based studio steez.

The new wordmark is set in Scope, with slight modifications to the letters i and M. The tagline uses Sora. Additional typefaces use in the identity include Cal Sans, Plus Jakarta Sans, and Roboto Mono.

The publication Prendre le Soleil: source de vie et de danger is unique in that it is an exhibition book, halfway between a booklet and a catalog. Made as student project at École Estienne, its ambition is to offer a new perspective on the eponymous exhibition at Hangar Y dedicated to the Sun, addressing visitors as well as art lovers. This hybrid format allows it to break free from traditional codes and aspires to make a unique reading experience accessible by graphically translating part of the experience lived during the visit of the exhibition.

This narrative begins with a journey through twelve works offering a utopian vision of the sun. The reading is structured and balanced thanks to the centered content, while the elongated format accompanied by organic frames provides a sense of freedom and dreamlike quality. As the pages progress, the density of the frames decreases, symbolizing the gradual exhaustion of the utopia, which is increasingly tainted by red indicators. The last page reveals that the reading is not yet complete, suggesting the existence of a second hidden path in the unbound pages of the book, inviting the reader to cut them out. The second path unfolds, tinged with red, painting a dystopian view of the star. Reading is reversed, the format becomes suffocating, texts fragment, and frames metamorphose, evoking viruses and invasive technologies.

This two-part reading reflects the temporality of the exhibition’s scenography, which plays on a luminous preface before shifting to darker and more committed works. Colors, textures, and pagination disrupt the chronology of reading, distorting reality to embody the duality of these fictional universes. This book follows a genuine progression, punctuated by clues and surprises, immersing us in an immersive experience. By involving the reader, the book goes beyond contemplation: the reader becomes an actor in their own experience, making the reading unique and memorable.

Navmaro is a Romanian tubulature and steel manufacturer in the naval industry that builds for performance.

With projects on construction sites in Romania and Europe, they rely on professionalism, solid qualifications and a constant commitment for performance. Each stage of their evolution reflects the seriousness with which they treat each project. They offer complete piping solutions, from production to installation — precise, fast and adapted to technical requirements. They work with a wide range of materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, CuNiFe and PVC.

What matters most to them is their commitment to quality.

The fluid lines in the visual language evoke depth and movement, symbolizing exploration and connectivity, while subtle geometric elements refer to strength, durability and industrial craftsmanship. The design strikes a balance between nature and engineering, creating a modern, versatile identity that conveys reliability and innovation.

The Loos typeface is useful for a naval company because its clean, modern, and highly legible design conveys precision and professionalism—qualities essential in maritime industries. The icon is derived from the Loos Wide Black typeface, as well as an abstract pipe layout. The supporting typefaces are Roboto and Roboto Mono.

This is a project I developed as part of my DNMADE in Graphic Design at École Estienne, April 2024.

After writing my dissertation, I decided to conduct interviews with professionals working for and within various cultural institutions in order to enrich my thinking within the framework of my degree project. I wanted to interview key players involved in different stages of exhibition creation: a museographer, a graphic designer and a scenographer. Their different points of view, influenced by their roles, missions and objectives, provide complementary perspectives. Comparing and contrasting these often related points of view was therefore essential to understanding the subject.

Each interview is presented in a coloured section, making it easier to read. The layout of the pages and the binding allow for non-linear exploration, where the reader can choose to follow the testimony of a single contributor or navigate freely between the different interviews, much like one might wander through an exhibition. A list of pictograms is also included to highlight certain vocabulary words and summarise certain ideas, thus offering a more visual dimension to the reading experience. These were used to design around twenty diagrams, which appear between the responses to make the reading experience more accessible."

Ania Catherine and Dejha Ti are an artist duo whose collaborative practice, Operator, develops critical and conceptual approaches to experience. I created a visual identity for their Privacy Collection—an ongoing series of digital artworks and NFTs, exploring privacy and transparency on web3. The project was showcased at Art Basel Miami and NFT Art Berlin at Kraftwerk.

Galxe is a decentralized super app and the largest on-chain distribution platform in Web3. Gravity by Galxe is an omnichannel smart contract platform. It delivers a more efficient, scalable, and secure mechanism for managing complex cross-chain interactions with minimal friction.

Galxe and Gravity utilize three custom-named upright styles of Lader (Regular, Medium, and SemiBold) throughout their websites and applications. Initially conceived as a typeface for web usage, Lader works excellently in both app and mobile interfaces. Selected text items are set in all caps Roboto Mono.

Clay Calculator is a website dedicated to the art of ceramics. Ceramic artists visit this site to find calculators that will help them build their projects with accuracy.

Clay Calculator was developed and designed because I felt that modern, playful, and user-friendly websites were lacking in the ceramics space. As a solo web developer & ceramic artist, creating the site myself was a natural next step.

To help evoke the modern and playful feel, Roboto Mono was chosen as the primary typeface and is integrated throughout the site.

Sitka Aesthetics is a med spa in Sitka, Alaska, providing a conservative but comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation, meticulously assessing each element of a client’s aesthetic goals. With their philosophy of less is more, Sitka Aesthetics aims to rejuvenate the natural features of each client while aligning with their lifestyle and aesthetic vision.

The visual identity takes characteristics from the town, mixing bold, airy, and symmetrical elements to create a balance between sophistication and playfulness. The logotype is set in Positype’s Scotch Display, a serif font that is elegant with refined details. The typography pairs Kazimir Text, a structured serif, with a clean and straightforward sans serif URW Franklin Gothic. Roboto Mono is used throughout for accents and captions. The typefaces are used across their website and social media campaigns.

We were thrilled to partner with The North Face in developing a campaign to commemorate the 50th anniversary of their iconic parka. This parka is not just a brilliant piece of technical gear for extreme conditions, it’s also a cultural symbol that has resonated with the masses. Our team crafted a comprehensive design system that included a dynamic motion package and an exclusive, limited-edition zine.

This system enabled us to integrate campaign photography and written interviews with some absolutely incredible people. Conrad Anker and Jimmy Chin recount epic stories of mountaineering, Quannah Chasinghorse shares what The North Face has meant to her in her advocacy and sustainability work, and Danie Sierra’s speaks of the parka’s resonance in urban culture. We had the immense pleasure of laying out their words alongside beautiful photography, from the heights of the Rocky Mountains to the streets of New York.

Druk Wide, Futura Passata, and Windsor made for perfect hero typefaces to carry this diverse cast of fascinating ambassadors – ranging from a bit nostalgic to very forward looking. They're supported by Neue Helvetica and Roboto Mono.

The digital platform aims to establish an inclusive and community-driven space that is currently lacking in the online marketplace.

Songlit embodies a youthful brand identity, enabling a diverse range of music genres and backgrounds while increasing relatability. Above all, Songlit thrives on bringing people together through the universal language of music. The brand's primary objective is to utilize music as a tool for celebrating everyday moments by creating custom songs that light up the world of someone special.

Studio DAD is a writing and design agency that builds brand identity systems, content, campaigns and experiences. In embarking on a full rebrand for landscape architecture firm Shapiro Didway, DAD developed a deeply collaborative process with the client’s brand leadership team. Over the course of more than a year, there were design charrettes, internal and external testing, and many deep discussions around how best to realize the spirit of the firm.

DAD designed a comprehensive identity system that would touch every aspect of the firm—from marketing to working documents to portfolio photos to environmental design. A completely new website was designed and built, and a brand launch campaign sealed the deal. The wordmark is set in Yport. The brand fonts are Beirut, Roboto Mono and New Hero

Object Mode is a group exhibition by students of the Electronic Media Department of HfG Offenbach at TOR Art Space in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The exhibition features moving images and objects in the form of spatial installations and video sculptures, and poses questions of intermedial and interpersonal entanglements.

The poster series takes up the movement of animation, in which elements distort in a block-like or object-like manner.

The Set Up is a group event with sound, performances and dance – also by students of the Electronic Media Department at HfG Offenbach. It takes place at Studio Naxos and accompanies the exhibition Object Mode.

The graphic design was created by Kongreta. Moki by Benoit Bodhuin can be seen in early use. It’s supported by Christian Robertson’s Roboto Mono.

Creative agency That Thing developed the new visual identity of Hoptek, a firm founded by global consultancy Kearney. Hoptek is a new platform that uses AI to help trucking companies plan, automate and adapt across all fifty states in the U.S.

Hoptek’s visual identity prominently uses its own corporate typeface Hoptek Monopol for the wordmark and titling purposes. This bespoke typeface was designed by Nguyen Gobber based on their retail typeface Monopol. In addition, Roboto and Roboto Mono by Christian Robertson are being used for copy.

Interferences was an exhibition held by the MAAT, curated by Carla Cardoso, António Brito Guterres and Alexandre Farto, dedicated to different expressions of urban culture, their underlying narratives and how they contribute to the design of the city of Lisbon. The exhibition was integrated in the commemorations of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.

Designer Ana Teresa Assensão used two styles of Flecha for headlines – mostly distorted, sometimes outlined or set on a curve. Body copy and secondary information is set in Roboto Mono.

The website of Anure pairs Schoolbell for headlines with Roboto Mono for text. Schoolbell was designed by Stuart Sandler in 2012, together with his ten-year old son Jackson. The Anure logo uses Russo One.

Anure is a creative studio making thoughtful and beautiful objects for everyday life. Our core values is a mix of creativity, playfulness and childishness. Salted with quality and peppered with fun.

The studio is based in Lisbon, Portugal. All our products are locally produced in small batches to ensure we don’t have leftover inventory or waste. We source our supplies within Europe to shorten the supply chains.

Solazo is set in a future where solar radiation has become harmful. Humanity has managed to adapt. However, Lucas is torn between the attraction and repulsion that the sun causes him, while he takes care of a plant.

The title is set in Nostra Stream by Lucas Descroix. Nostra Stream is used for the credits as well, combined with Roboto Mono by Christian Robertson and Gascogne by Brendel / Typeshop.

Visual identity and illustrations for the creative copywriter Sandra Valencia, making use of Trash by Estela Ibarz, with Roboto Mono in a supporting role. The identity design has been approved and will be implemented soon.

Catalog design as part of the exhibition Nurse, Nurse, the central event of Manofim – Nurse, Nurse was the main event at the Manofim Festival for Contemporary Art. Manofim, which for the past nine years has been held in unique exhibition sites, seeks to turn its attention to the social and political seams that traverse the urban space. In 2019 the exhibition took place in the mythological Bikur Cholim Hospital, at the heart of Jerusalem.

The catalog design was inspired by medical formalities – forms, prescriptions, instructions, etc. The catalog aspires to function as a formal “tour guide” through the exhibition. A sort of comforting contradiction to the personal and emotional artworks.

In addition, I wanted to quote from the historical archive of the Bikur Holim Hospital – the ancient hospital’s logo had a rare combination of biblical Hebrew letters and a blackletter font on the opposite English version.

The cover typography brings together Mugrabi (Hebrew), Gandur Alte (English), and Mirza (Arabic).

The fonts used in the interior are Roboto Mono (English), 29LT Baseet (Arabic), and 80kb (Hebrew).

Arde, moments and memories. Scented soy candles that celebrate fire, handmade in a workshop in Lima, Peru. Through a selection of aromas and textures, it collects your day as experiences. Set an intention, light the fire.

The visual approach for this project begins with understanding fire as an elemental celebration and a craft process. The packaging system explores the need to communicate of the brand. With a name as impressive as Arde (“Burn”), the use of Brrr for the typography is essential to stand out. Smaller text is set in Roboto Mono. The box represents this quality, with the support of a monospaced typeface as complement. On the other hand, the label showcases the layout system, as well as the typographic selection. Offset printing provides a texture to the design, generating small organic forms of ink.
