Grotesque No. 6 & 8 in use

The extended pair (regular and bold) from Stephenson Blake’s Grotesque series. No. 6 was released in 1880–82. No. 8 followed in 1898 and is credited to Elisha Pechey. The No. 8 Italic is equivalent to Miller & Richard’s Grotesque No. 4 Italic. [Reichardt 2011] Other sources say that No. 8 was cut in 1920 for Stephenson Blake by Edward Prince. [Millington 2002]

In 2004, Panache/HouseStyle revived No. 6, including a bold and italic, exclusively for The University of Sheffield as Blake.
