Farnham

“German-born punchcutter Johann Fleischman, a contemporary of John Baskerville and Pierre Simon Fournier, worked at the Enschedé Foundry in Haarlem. Expert in advanced tools and the qualities of fine steel, he pushed beyond the frontiers of his time, cutting active typefaces famous worldwide for their ‘sparkle’. Christian Schwartz focused on Fleischman’s exuberant angularity, carrying it to all weights of his Farnham series — Text, Display, and Headline. [Font Bureau, 2004, 2016]

Originally released with Font Bureau and moved to Orange Italic in 2023.
