Designed by Harry Winters for VGC in 1972. The Bold was adopted
by Letraset and is shown in their 1987 catalog (but not yet in
1983). Mecanorma offered all three styles (Medium, Bold, and
Outline), shown as new in their Graphic Book 12 from
1986.
Shown under the alias TC Revere Gothic in a single
Bold style in a catalog of faces credited to Les Usherwood by
Typographic Vision Ltd. A copy of all 3 styles is shown by
Castcraft as Chartres Gothic in their 1978
catalog.
In 1990, Garrett Boge of LetterPerfect revived the bold weight
as Roslyn Gothic LP (used for sample). In 1992, Dave
Farey digitized the Medium and Bold weights for Panache.
Mecanorma’s digital version, Roslyn, covers all three
