A chromatic typeface designed in-house at Schelter & Giesecke and issued in 1888 as Aurora [Wetzig 1926–40]. No lowercase, but shown in combination with wide Lombardic-style initials. [c.1889 specimen] Also cast by Urania as Serie Argentina and by Augusta as Margherita [Reichardt 2011]. Nebiolo had the initials as Gotiche fregiate. [1935 specimen] Solotype had a film version named Showboat.
