A wide and heavy Latine or Etienne, cast by Woellmer and Bauer under this name before 1900. Renaissance breit fett (Stempel, c. 1880) is similar or identical. So is Holsatia (Genzsch & Heyse, 1888) [Wetzig 1926–40]. It is not clear where this design originated.
