various foundries. [Reichardt/Hoefer] Released in 1909 by the
Gottfried Böttger foundry in Leipzig. Initially referred to as
Deutsche Kartenschrift [VdS] and later as
Liebing-Type. Comes with two sets of caps,
glatt (plain) and verziert (decorated). A
halbfett (bold) was added in 1914, a licht (open)
in 1916. Also cast by Weber, Trennert, Berthold (as
Liebing-Type), AG für Schriftgießerei (as
Eleonore), L. Wagner
(as Elite-Gotisch), Haas (as
