A film type developed by John N. Schaedler with Ray Cruz in the late 1960s [Cruz] and sold before 1973. Comes with many swash alternates. Also issued by Letraset in 1974. In their 1968 catalog, Lettergraphics shows a very similar or identical design as Toga Bold next to (a slightly lighter) Toga Light, both with optional swashes. Shown in other phototypesetter catalogs as Fluto.

Digitally revived by Jason Walcott as Periwinkle JF (Jukebox Type, 2006). Loo Snoo Roman NF (Nick’s Fonts, 2010) is another, looser interpretation by Nick Curtis. See also VeraCruz (Bitstream, 2003) by Ray Cruz.
