Released in 1923 by Stephenson Blake [Reichardt 2011]. Later (in 1936?) adopted by Monotype. FontShop mentions Deberny & Peignot as the source and gives a 1884 date.

Also produced as dry-transfer sheets by Letraset.

Digital versions by Monotype (two weights) and Adobe. URW’s Modern Script No3 and No4 (1999) appear to be based on the same source, too.

The Letraset version is based on a larger size of the original than Monotype’s digitization, which is evident in curlier caps.
