Caps-only (initially) titling face with alternates. “Designed to line not only at the bottom but also at the top and centered vertically.” — Circuitous Root
Designed by Gustave Schroeder [Werner], Atlanta was patented by company owner Carl Schraubstadter, Jr. for Central [ATF 1895–96] in 1886, but first advertised in 1885. Victoria appears to be a condensed version of the same design. Victoria Italic followed ca. 1891 [CR].
P22 Victorian Gothic is based on Atlanta.
