First cast by Schelter
& Giesecke in 1922. Initially shown with an ‘M’ with splayed
legs. Alternates for narrow ‘S’ and ‘i’ with round dot. [VdS] ‘H’ was available with a triangular
crossbar, either as alternate or as size-specific form. The forms
of ‘E’ and ‘F’ were revised at some point. [1932

decorated caps and numerals.
Face
Photosetting had a phototype version as Dolmen
Black, with both forms of ‘E’ (but not ‘F’) and ‘i’.
[Face c.1981] Letraset made an adaptation for dry transfer
lettering in 1987, with an alternate ‘R’.
