design: Jean Midolle, Genève”. In the 5th edition (1976), it
appears in a revised form, with expanded credits: “[redesigned and
completed by] Armin Haab.” Capitals only (A–Z, no J). Also included
in
an edition issued by Berthold in 1966.
Adopted by Mecanorma in 1967. Shown in their Graphic Book #6 in
the same form as in Lettera 2, but with an added ‘J’ made by mirroring ‘L’,
as 82C Lettres Ornees (alongside 82A AKA
Lettres
Ombrées Ornées, and 82B AKA Olivia).
#14 lists it as Ornees C, with a Haas credit.

Exotica (West Wind Fonts, 2001, used for sample) is a freebie digitization based on the Haab redesign (auto-traced, with a ‘J’ made from ‘I’ and ‘G’). Bad Situation (Intellecta Design, 2008) is another (poor) digital rendition, based on a showing titled “Example Alphabet” in Examples of Modern Alphabets, Plain and Ornamental, collected and engraved by F. Delamotte, and first published in 1864.
