condensed style and was marketed as family member by the foundry.
Welt-Antiqua was also available for Linotype. Sold
abroad as Luxor. Licensed to other foundries [c.1940
specimen] and also cast as Atlas by Typefoundry Amsterdam, Ramsès by
FTF, and
Ultra by Schriftguss [Reichardt 2011]. Landi by
Nebiolo is another version distinguished by
modifications – see the ‘A’ (in chiaro and neretto to match the
bold) and ‘GKR2457’ [Tzallas] – and original additions, see
Landi corsivo, Landi neretto stretto, Landi Echo, Landi Linear.
