Berthold’s version of the simplified textura spans five styles: three weights, a schmalfett, and an uncommon oblique (Deutschland-Kursiv). Published 1933–35. Genzsch & Heyse offered this design as Marienburg [Reichardt 2011].
The typeface was marketed with heavy themes of Nazism, with some promotional specimens explicitly including Nazi symbols.
Gerhard Helzel’s digitization spans three weights (2002) plus a licht (outlined and shaded) style (2015).
