Issued by Haas in 1899. Augusta had the same design as Ausonia, Slévárna písem as Komenius, Trennert as Prometheus (cont. by Weber), Böttger as Teutonia (before 1907, also by Berling), and Gans as Vulcano (with added outline style, Vulcano contorno) [Reichardt 2011].
Revived by Letraset for dry transfer lettering and by Berthold for phototypesetting [Berthold 1974].
The best digital interpretation is Herakles (Miracle Type Co., 2026; used for sample). Other digitizations include Huk (Castcraft, 1990–94), an unsatisfying freebie by Dieter Steffmann (2004), and Excalibur Nouveau (Typo-Graf, 2015).
